Apollo Group TV Error Codes: What 403, 400 & Connection Timeout Mean

Last updated

An Apollo TV status code is the server's short answer to your player app. 403 means "refused" (usually an expired plan, a login mismatch or all screens in use), 400 means the request was malformed (almost always a server URL typo), and a connection timeout means your device never reached the server. Look up your code below and follow its fix. These meanings apply to Apollo TV lines in IPTV Smarters, TiviMate and similar players.

02Fix Apollo Group TV status code 403

  1. 01

    Confirm the plan hasn't expired

Prepaid plans stop on their last day and the server answers every request with 403. Renew Apollo TV and it clears as soon as we confirm.

  2. 02

    Paste the login again

Copy username and password from your activation message. Both are case-sensitive and a hidden space is enough to be refused.

  3. 03

    Free a screen

If other devices are streaming on the same login, stop one. Your plan allows as many streams as it has connections.

  4. 04

    Test without a VPN

Some VPN servers get refused. Turn the VPN off or switch to another server and retry.

  5. 05

    Restart the router

Thirty seconds unplugged can give you a new IP address and clear a temporary block.

  6. 06

Clear cache and reload the playlist

Clear the player's cache, then reload or re-add the profile so it signs in fresh.

Still 403 after all six? Send us a photo of the screen, your device and your username on WhatsApp. Never your password.

03Fix status code 400

  • Re-type the server URL exactly, including http:// and the port number after the colon.
  • Remove stray spaces around the URL, username and password.
  • Signing in with an M3U link? Paste the whole link at once; one missing character causes a 400.
  • Delete the profile and add it again instead of editing it.

04Fix Apollo TV connection timeout

A timeout means your request got no answer. Narrow down where it's stuck:

  • Try another channel and another device. If only one device times out, restart it and clear its player's cache.
  • Restart the router and device; retry on Ethernet or 5 GHz Wi-Fi.
  • Set the device's DNS to 1.1.1.1 or 8.8.8.8; failing DNS is a common cause.
  • Test on mobile data. If it works there, the issue is your home connection or provider, and a VPN server change may help.
  • Nothing connects anywhere? Message us so we can check the service.

Stop-start playback is buffering, not a timeout; see Apollo TV buffering fixes.

05500, 502 and 503 server errors

These come from the server side, so there's nothing to change on your device. Give it a few minutes; if it persists, tell us on WhatsApp.

06When to message support

If the fixes above don't work, send the exact code (a photo is best), your device and player, when it started and your username. All contacts are on the Apollo Group TV customer service page.

FAQ

Apollo Group TV error codes: FAQ

What does status code 403 mean on Apollo Group TV?

The server refused the request: usually an expired plan, a login typo or all your screens in use. Check those, then try without a VPN and restart the router.

Why does Apollo TV say connection timeout?

Your device couldn't reach the server. Restart the router and device, switch DNS to 1.1.1.1 or 8.8.8.8, and test on mobile data.

What is status code 400?

A malformed request, almost always a mistyped server URL. Re-enter it with http:// and the port.

What does 433 or 458 mean?

They aren't standard web codes, so the meaning depends on the app showing them. Treat them like a 403, then send us a screenshot if they persist.

Is my account blocked?

Rarely. Expired plans, typos, busy screens and network issues cause almost every code. Message us your username and we'll check.
